Description As a leading manufacturer of sealed lead acid batteries, Yuasa has utilized Oxygen Recombination Technology, combined with 80 years of experience in lead acid battery technology, to create the best sealed lead acid battery design. By using a unique construction and sealing method, Yuasa ensures that electrolyte won’t leak from the case or terminals. A microfine glass mat is used in Yuasa’s electrolyte suspension system to ensure maximum electrolyte retention in the cells. There is no free electrolyte to escape from the cells since the electrolyte is retained in the separator material. There is no addition of gels or other contaminants. NP batteries by Yuasa feature the latest oxygen recombination technology that effectively controls gas generation. The battery almost never needs maintenance due to its perfectly sealed construction and the recombination of gases within the cell. There are a number of types and sizes of terminals used in the manufacturing of NP batteries. Details are shown in the following table. The combined sealed construction and Yuasa’s unique electrolyte suspension system ensures that the unit can be operated in any orientation, without changing performance or leaking electrolyte. Valve Regulated Design The batteries are equipped with a simple, safe, low pressure venting system which releases excess gas and automatically reseals should there be a build up of gas within the battery due to severe overcharge. Note. On no account should the battery be charged in a sealed container. Main Features Lead Acid battery chemistry delivers energy to the multipurpose through an easily controlled reaction 12 V DC battery – Powers your multipurpose safely Lead Calcium Grids for superior life Good recovery from deep discharge Operation in any orientation (excluding continuous inverted use) Absorbed Glass Mat construction with no free acid Genera purpose VRLA battery
